Balfour Kilpatrick specialise in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of M&E services. Our clients are in the power, industrial, infrastructure, commercial, education and retail sectors. Customers, safety, people and the environment are our key drivers. Our successes in 2007 support this:

• Rospa Awards - 15 RoSPA Gold Awards and 4 Gold Medals in 2008.
• Maintaining OHSAS 18001 for our UK operations, again proving external verification of the company’s health, safety and environmental management system, ensuring year on year improvement. During 2007 our Sri Lanka operations also attained 18001 accreditation, the first overseas BB Company to gain this.
• Year on year improvement on the company AFR. At the end of 2007 was 0.16, our lowest ever achieved, almost halving from 2006 (0.22) which we believe to be as a result of our behavioural safety campaign.
• Delivery of the behavioural safety intervention module to all operatives on site by their supervisors. Over 1700 operatives attended sessions showing commitment from their management teams (approximately 134 sessions).
• 6786 training days for safety / environmental training in 2007.
• Investor in People accreditation achieved this year.
• We are developing 253 trainees, including 168 apprentices, supported by 'We've Got Plans for You'.
