The Projects Unit of Balfour Kilpatrick was formed to execute large process related projects in the nuclear, power, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and infrastructure sectors.
Projects Unit operates UK wide, without regional boundaries, from its regional head office in Renfrew and Area Offices in Sellafield, Teesside and London. We provide autonomous project support providing customers the specific team support, communication and decision making capability required to successfully deliver projects of this complex, interface dependent nature.
Through this approach we have the advantage of providing a UK wide resourced team enabling local execution on a national level and the ability to provide rapid top-up of skills at any project location independent of local skills availability constraints.

Nuclear Capability
Balfour Kilpatrick's Projects Unit is a leading M&E installation services provider in the UK Nuclear sector. From the early 1960s Balfour Kilpatrick have provided design and installation services on nuclear power station construction projects and maintained an active participation on many nuclear sites in the role of multi-discipline term contractor. More recently the project bias has shifted towards reprocessing and decommissioning works.
Our service provision, while retaining its solid electrical and instrumentation roots, has expanded over the years to include the management of mechanical building services, active ventilation, structure erection, and minor civil works design, installation, and commissioning.
