On the 17th June at Building magazine’s Health and Safety awards, Balfour Kilpatrick triumphed in the ‘Building Contractors Safety Programme’ category. Judges commented that the M&E contractor’s dedicated health and safety board has helped slash accident frequency rate to virtually zero.

At the Building Services Awards on the 23rd June in London, Balfour Kilpatrick secured a further award in the ‘Health and Safety Initiative’ category. The award was collected by HR manager Caroline Brown, senior safety advisor Craig Hutchison and operations manager John Irvine.
At Sellafield Site, we have secured the ‘Resident Engineer’s Shield for Safety’ for the third time in four years. This year in the category of companies with between 99-149 employees on site. Ray Clements (operations manager) is pictured bottom right with Stuart McCrae – (Sellafield Sites safety manager). Balfour Kilpatrick’s Sellafield team has recently achieved in excess of 750,000 man-hours without a reportable accident.
